Oh how I love crochet! And if you do too, HandMaid Liset would be the perfect fuel for your addiction. Lisette is a talented sewer, crocheter and knitter from Leiden, Netherlands. She creates lovely patterns and a large variety of items for your home and wardrobe, like vase covers, throws, scarves and much more.

I am so impressed by the intricacy involved in the crochet process, and the gorgeous shapes and patterns it creates. Lisette’s beautiful work inspires me to want to learn crochet, so I must find some time soon to start a project. But in the meantime, we can all just admire Lisette’s work and talent. And if you are so tempted to get yourself some of her lovely crochet, (love the gorgeous hexagon throw!) visit her etsy shop for a selection of her recent work. Lisette often switches between techniques and materials, creating a wide collection of lines and products.

Lisette’s love for colors is translated through to her vibrant, multi-colored designs. I love the palettes she creates, so bright and lively, and perfect for spring. She is constantly on the lookout for different shapes and materials to work with at thrift stores and second hand stores. I’d love to spend some time watching Lisette in action, how interesting it would be to see the different pieces come alive bit by bit. If you would like to get a glimpse of Lisette’s process as she creates, visit her blog that is updated with her projects.

The coverlet is beautiful with such bright kaleidoskope of patterns! I love crocheted things and I’ve learned to make some serviettes and decorated some towels, but I still didn’t try anything more complicated:) thank you for the link too!
