If you’ve been reading for a while, you’ll know about a certain passion for travel, and certainly at this time of year, with thoughts and plans of summer getaways and escapes, one of the loveliest places in the world is versailles – so luxe and positively filled with history, it nearly overwhelms – where the rest of the world seems to fall away at the sight of perfectly ornate chandeliers, the majestic hall of mirrors and the appartements privés de marie antoinette / private apartments of marie antoinette.
