Last day of the year spent on the beach in dubai and such excitement for the night, for counting down to the new year with the dearest friends, and it has been such a wonderful 2011, thank you so much for reading all this time and coming along on this adventure, for the lovely comments and thoughtful emails, wishing you a spectacular new year’s eve filled with love and laughter, and looking forward to a beautiful 2012! xo

A beautiful outdoor celebration as santa arrived on a camel, {who would have thought last year’s limo entrance could be topped?} a truly unforgettable christmas eve with the loveliest family and friends, lost in a whirlwind of festivities, time is flying at a remarkable pace and now the last week of december overflowing with leftovers and delicious dessert, taking a few moments to make plans for the new year.

It has been the most frantic december yet, completing final projects and anticipating the most wonderful time of year, landing in dubai only a few days before christmas into a flurry of celebrations and reunions with family and dear friends all together again, last-minute shopping and gift-wrapping, christmas day spent poolside and into the night caroling by the fire, and a few moments this afternoon before blissfully getting lost in it all over again.

After several incredibly frantic weeks, finally completed the first semester, and a little time outside the studio to enjoy the most wonderful time of year; the first holiday party in dubai tonight and beautiful style inspiration from upcoming london label Marina Qureshi, whose spring/summer 2012 collection is filled with utterly breathtaking unique evening wear, formal gowns and cocktail dresses, perfectly infused with swarovski crystals and semi-precious stones; wonderfully romantic in delicate lace, soft silks and flowing chiffon.
