The end of August is always such a beautiful part of summer, and brings with it warm tones, neutral hues and soft shapes, textures and gorgeous light. That’s what I see in this palette, the beautiful details and small elements. Do you find bliss in these photos?

Good morning and happy Monday to you. How are things? Did you have a nice weekend? What did you do? I had a busy weekend trying to get errands out of the way since I will have a busy week getting ready for my flight on Friday. I stayed offline for most of the weekend, and it made such a huge difference – I got so much accomplished, had a lot of time to relax, watch the world cup final and celebrate. I feel completely refreshed and ready for work on Monday morning. It’s great!

So tell me, do you have any summer plans or vacations? I love this time of year because it’s reserved for family and friends, relaxing and having time for myself. I must say, although this is the longest time I’ve been away from Dubai, I have fallen in love with Toronto summers. There is so much sunshine and celebration, festivals and the city comes alive.

Isn’t this palette of blues, greens and soft peach so refreshing? I love the details in all these photos, from the bright dresses to the patterns in the green tray and the bowl. Floral patterns are happy and fun, the perfect accessory for summer. I will be announcing the winner of the Little Deer Giveaway today as well, so make sure you stay tuned!

Good morning friends! I hope you had a very lovely weekend, and productive week ahead! I can safely say I had a very relaxing weekend. I couldn’t do much in Toronto because of the restrictions with getting around due to some wild protesters and rioters around the G20 summit, so I spent it mostly indoors with friends. I did manage to take my first bikhram yoga class, which I absolutely loved and found completely energizing! What did you do?

After a wet and gloomy weekend over here, I am yearning for some sunshine and a dose of color! Florals, bright colors, and patterns are the perfect complements for summer and always tend to lift my mood without fail! This palette screams fiesta, I could see these paper lanterns at an outdoor summer party, and the floral cushions at a picnic on the lawn.
What comes to your mind when you look at this palette?

Happy Monday! With a new week upon us, I personally wish it hadn’t come so quickly and that the weekend was a little longer as I usually try to fit in all the extra work I have to do and have some fun as well on those two days off, and I feel a bit behind now. So this week I will have to have more of a balance between work, play and rest!

A little photographic inspiration always gets me motivated and off to the right start. This week, hues of natural wood, whites, and neutrals with hints of color has got me thinking about redecorating. I wish I had more time I could devote to creating mood boards, picking out furniture, putting colors together for my apartment, but I have to make do with the time I have. I will try to set aside some time this week for this project and share my results with you – perhaps the first thing I should do is create a timeline to get myself organized.
How did you spend your weekend? Did you accomplish all you had hoped?

Good morning and Happy Monday! I am so excited to start this new week on a fresh note after the long week I just had! It was my birthday on Wednesday and I had a friend visiting, and things got much busier and more hectic than I thought they would. I was planning on posting on Burrs & Berries on Thursday and Friday, but sadly I didn’t get the chance to even go online. While being offline was a nice break and I spent quite some time with friends and family, I missed you and couldn’t wait to get back to posting regularly! I hope that you have been doing well and had a nice weekend!

With the gorgeous summer season comes natural light and sublime weather! Everything seems more positive, do feel this way? I embrace and try to surround myself with limitless possibilities of color, but even white seems brighter. Although I love whites and natural color palettes for winter, they stand out so nicely in the summer as well. With brighter rooms and backdrops, whites and neutrals stand out and create such a serene environment, don’t you think? How I’m longing for that all white house look!
