Monday, Monday, and after an impossibly busy week, it’s back to work. Adore the start of a new week, and quite looking forward to a quiet, mellow one, and this morning it’s modern beautiful, classic black and whites, dashing out the door in a snug belted trench, umbrella and rain boots.

Easy side braids, suede platforms and a breathtaking view overlooking the chicago cityscape beyond, washed tones and the early autumn sky. Shall always and forever adore the calm and serene palette of warm greys and neutrals, and even more so after happening upon it beautiful shades of yellow. Happy, happy Monday, wherever you may be.

After a weekend reminiscent of everlasting summer days, now undeniably over, another autumn monday is here again, and everywhere, leaves are falling. The early light, reflecting on light birch and natural wood, reading and daydreaming, spending lovely moments in conversation fading into the warmth of a charming fireplace.

A busy, busy weekend 300 miles away, after road trips and winding roads, never ending trees in beautiful autumn colors, dinners for two and long, leisurely conversations, finally the enchanting sound of falling leaves, cashmere scarves and charming layers, a calm and serene Monday morning.
