Hello & happy Monday! This weekend there were plans of picnics and shopping and strolls in central park, but instead it was a delectable dinner for two on friday night and last-minute tickets to the jay z and kanye west concert {incredible}, and mostly lying about under cozy throws watching judy garland classics. For this week, there are countless projects to complete, overflowing closets to organize and shops to visit.

A new month already, and as the early morning air is wonderfully crisp, mid-afternoons are spent working in the studio sun drenched in the warmest light, and I have discovered a new found love for autumn, so still and beautiful in this city.

Positively amazed at the weather in new york recently, already mid-october and still in light layers and cardigans, I have been absolutely enjoying extending the summer wardrobe of full-length skirts, florals and bright hues with slight adjustments, frequently layering with a chic blazer and a scarf.

A favorite thing has been combining prints – stripes and leopard, and mixing natural colors – camel, navy, khaki and cream; enjoying layering for crisp fall mornings and breezy evenings, and styling comfortable outfits that will last throughout the day and long nights at the studio.
