Hello friends! How are you today? Unfortunately I won’t be able to write Etsy Love because I am going to the cottage with my office! Fun, I know! I’ll be back with regular posts on Monday, but for now how about some gorgeous inspiration?
Gorgeous online wedding magazine Utterly Engaged is celebrating their One Year Anniversary! Make sure you pay them a visit if you are unfamiliar with them.
August/September issue of Lonny Magazine is filled with lovely design and eye candy.
Have a lovely weekend!
Thank you for spending some moments with me here on burrs & berries this week. Though it was a short one and I wasn’t able to accomplish all I had hoped, I did enjoy it, and it was certainly nice to have you. And this only equals more fun and more time I will dedicate to burrs & berries next week.
Before we part for the weekend and bid farewell, I’d like to take a moment and share some beautiful photographic inspiration to start off the weekend calm and collected. I love the soft tones and quality of this photograph, it’s so natural and pure in it’s essence with pink hues that hint at summer. If you like this one, please take a moment and visit Andie Edwards stream to find more inspiration!
Enjoy your family, friends and try to take some time off the internet to do the things you love, that inspire happiness and joy. See you on Monday! And until then, I wish you all a lovely weekend.

It’s Friday at last, and I couldn’t be more excited and motivated to start a productive weekend! What are your plans? I plan to do a LOT of spring cleaning, get some groceries, clean and organize my apartment, and complete a freelance project I have been working on as well, which should free up some time for me to work on other things. It’s not all work though, as I’ll going to a barbecue tonight to celebrate my sister’s birthday as well.

Next Friday I will be traveling to New York City for 4 days with a few of my girlfriends for a little time off and a good time together. It will be a good change of pace, and I will be scouting for some shops and design inspiration to share!
I have been to the city quite a few times before, and I’ve covered the usual tourist sites so this trip will be all about having fun, shopping, finding new places to see, and looking for art and design inspiration! And I’d love to hear your thoughts, and get your advice. From exhibitions, craft shows, flea markets, beautiful shops, do you have any tips? I’d love to spend some time in the Brooklyn art scene, I know there’s so much talent that emerges from there! What’s absolutely not-to-miss in New York? I’d love to hear about the must-sees!

It’s finally Friday afternoon and time for us all to enjoy some time off and have a great weekend! Did you have a nice week? I had a very busy one, and feel a bit behind, but that’s okay because as well as relaxing and spending some time with friends tonight, I set aside some time this weekend to finish all I need to have done and get back on track. What are your plans for the weekend?
I leave you with some inspiration from student photographer Rachel Fee from Amsterdam. This photograph speaks peace, calm and quiet to me. I find so much inspiration in it, and I hope you can take something from it as well and carry it on over into your weekend. What will you do this weekend? I do hope you enjoy yourself.
See you on Monday, friends!

Filled with family and loved ones, I wish you a Happy Easter, and wonderful weekend. I put together a pastel color palette with a feel of Easter of photos I found that inspire me, and I hope you find some bliss in them too.

I wish you all a wonderful weekend! What are your plans? I am exhausted after a long week of juggling a hundred and one things, working between two jobs and to top it off, I got the nasty flu and strep throat yesterday that I am fighting through (fun!) But that just means that I can spend the weekend resting, and taking in lots of Vitamin C!
I have been really busy the past couple of months taking on many different projects, and working on my portfolio to try and compensate for my less-than-creative job. It really took a toll on me, I had to commute for two hours daily to get to a job that did not even fulfill me, I knew I had to get out of there. So I agreed to work from home, which will make my hours much more flexible. And today I signed on to a design agency doing mainly motion video work, which I am so happy about! There’s a little update from me, now how about you? What have you been doing lately?
Have you seen the work of brilliant photographer Andie Edwards? If not, you must have a look at her gorgeous flickr stream, her photographs will be sure to inspire you. Her photos are so serene and soft, with such a pure quality to them.

It’s Friday! Thank you for joining me this week on burrs & berries, I hope you have a wonderful weekend lovelies. What do you have planned? Anything exciting? The weather has been gloomy in Toronto for the past few days, and I have been buying fresh flowers every week to add some life to my apartment. These are some I’ve recently bought.
It’s going to be another busy weekend for me! I am working on a project that I can’t wait to share with you, but you will get to see soon! I’m also going to a design conference tomorrow with speakers from some of my favorite agencies in Toronto, so I’m looking forward to meeting people! I’d love to hear what you will be doing. See you on Monday!

Let’s discuss creativity and what inspires you, are you in? I feel like I have been all over the place lately creativity wise, and can’t really focus on what I’m doing. This usually happens when I’ve lost track of things and haven’t really stopped to take a breath, go back and refer to style guides, or my personal process work and projects. So, luckily, I got this great assignment from a course that I’m taking that required me to create a moodboard.
Basically, I had to step away from anything digital and physically make an inspiration board that best defines my style and things I want to cover on my blog. I have created many moodboards before but not recently. This forced me to take some time off whatever I was doing and really think about, organize and categorize images, doodles, really anything that interests me and that I feel passionate about. I love making things with my hands but I haven’t really had the time lately, and this was a nice little break for me.
I think that it’s important to do something like this every once a while to keep yourself updated and organized because you are always progressing and evolving, and things that inspired you last year or last month might not be doing it for you anymore. Do you have an inspiration board or something like that you refer to? What inspires you to keep going? And how do you define your style? I’d love to hear YOUR interests and inspiration.
